How do I create a DXDiag file in Windows XP?

1. In the task bar, click on "Start" and then select "Run".

2. In the text box, enter "dxdiag" (without quotation marks) and click on "OK".

3. Select "Save All Information..." to create a text-file.

4. Choose where to save the text-file - remember this location! You'll have to find it if you are submitting a support request.

1. Press the Windows icon/Start Bar then type “dxdiag” into the search bar and hit Enter

How do I attach my DXDiag file to my support request?

Once you have created your DXDiag file, press the browse button on the support form, locate the DXDiag file on your computer, and double-click on it.
